Inside Sales Representative
Job Summary:
The inside sales representative is responsible for creating, managing
and closing a pipeline of opportunities, including producing accurate
sales forecasting. This position
requires heavy outbound phone calls and full cycle selling skills,
including lead qualification. Must have strong technical aptitude and be
accustomed to providing consistent technical presentations over the
phone and/or web-meeting environment.
Success in this role is measured by revenue generation and customer
retention, growing new business by adding new customers and growing
existing customers by selling additional products and software licenses.
Primary Responsibilities:
•
Increase sales revenue through phone-based, full-cycle, solution
selling.
•
Track all relevant sales activity using MS CRM (including calls,
prospect pipeline, account notes, etc.)
•
Prioritize time-management decisions against the sales pipeline goals.
•
Achieve and maintain expertise in WinEst products.
•
Demonstrate Products thru online Webinars.
•
Provide feedback to marketing about product reception and desired
features.
•
Participate in trade shows where appropriate. Travel may be required.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
•
Experienced at initiating a sales cycle with senior executives (C-Level,
VP, etc.).
•
Proficient in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, CRM
(or similar sales tracking tools)
•
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
•
Ability to analyze and understand Customer/Prospect's
work process and apply WinEst Solutions to their needs.
•
Ability to make wise decisions quickly and efficiently.
•
Ability to understand customer budgets.
•
Ability to understand standard contract terms.
•
Sales skills – personal presentation, prospecting, qualification,
closing and account management (retention)
•
Ability to work well in a team-selling environment.
•
Professional phone demeanor.
Education / Experience:
•
College degree desired.
•
3-5 years of high-tech sales experience (A/E/C industry sales exp.
desired)
•
Demonstrable phone-based selling skills required. 2+ years
phone-based sales experienced desired.
•
Superior appointment setting skills are essential; demonstrated
experience negotiating past gatekeepers to
reach appropriate decision
makers
•
Attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; superior time
management skills; and ability to work with
minimal supervision are
essential.
•
Superior oral/written (grammar, spelling, professional) communication
skills required; must work well with
cross-functional teams; comfortable
as team lead or member.
•
Administrative: experience generating and maintaining reports; data
collection and analysis; presentation of results;
client billing and
resolution; revenue reports.
•
Work comfortably in an ongoing, entrepreneurial environment.
