WinEst offers a two-day Introduction to Estimating training course, providing estimators with a fundamental
understanding of WinEst Pro® and WinEst Pro Plus® programs. This comprehensive two-day course consists of brief lecture topics followed by
hands-on exercises using WinEst software to perform sample estimates. This course will familiarize users with the basic functionality of WinEst
software, and allow them to return to the office and immediately prepare cost estimates with WinEst.
Please note that there is a 10% discount on our standard open class training for those who are current on their Service Plan.

The WinEstimator Introduction to Estimating class provides the cost estimator with a fundamental understanding of the WinEst Pro and WinEst Pro Plus estimating software.
This comprehensive two-day course consists of brief lecture topics followed by hands-on exercises using WinEst software to perform sample estimates. These topics begin with maneuvering through WinEst and progress to include:
• Takeoff items
• Analyzing the estimate using filters
• Creating winning reports and analysis tools
• Adding mark-ups, overhead, taxes and bonds
• Database maintenance and editing
• Creating templates and assemblies
The overall goal of this course is to familiarize the cost estimator with the basic functionality of WinEst software, allowing the estimator to return to the office and immediately prepare cost estimates with WinEst.
Prerequisite: An elementary understanding of Microsoft Windows and estimating techniques.
