Cost-as-you-design technology does all of the heavy work by analyzing and interpreting CAD elements and generating accurate and detailed cost estimates. Templates for six commercial-building types automatically capture non-design and sub-discipline costs (general conditions, electrical, mechanical, overhead & profit, etc.) to create a more accurate, real-world cost estimate. Data within the resulting estimate can be shared with any industry-standard cost-accounting system and/or project-scheduling systems, such as MS Project or Primavera Enterprise.
