Partners in Education
WinEstimator, Inc. is providing a valuable opportunity for college and university
programs to acquire and use, in an educational context, the industry leading A/E/C
construction cost estimating software. The academic application of this software,
for training purposes only, may be used on-site for instructional use in both classrooms
and labs. The coordinating or lead professor who wishes to participate in this program,
must submit for application a completed 'WinEstimator Educational Use Request Form.'
Approved WinEstimator Partners in Education will receive the current academic version
of this software, for which the usual and customary fees will be waived, (at no
charge). In addition, one professor per school site is also allowed to attend a
corporate scheduled open enrollment for a WinEst(R) training course,
one training seminar per school year, (space permitting). The academic version approved
for inclusion in this program, is WinEst Pro Plus.

Student Education -- Academic Program Participation
WinEstimator, Inc.(R) is also providing a valuable opportunity for registered
college and university students to acquire and use, in an educational context, the
industry leading A/E/C construction cost estimating software. Students may use the
academic application of this software for learning purposes, and must provide proof
of current registration. The student who wishes to participate in this program must
also submit for application a completed 'WinEstimator(R) Student Order
Form.' Approved students, currently enrolled in accredited and approved Education
programs, will receive the current 'Academic Student' version of this software,
for which special and reduced academic fees will be applied.
WinEst Pro Plus(R) is the approved academic (Student) software version
for inclusion in this program. Please note the following restrictions and limitations
for participation in this program:
Student Copies
- Single user ('License') only
- Student software ('License') expires on August 1st following the purchase (renewable)
- Student software carries a maximum limitation of 99 items per estimate
- Academic Participation ('License') may be approved only for WinEstimator Inc.(R)
databases, and/or a sample of the RS Means(R) database (though, user
databases can be imported).
- Student software 'Cut-&-Paste' feature is disabled from estimate sheet to Excel(R)
- Student 'hardcopy' Manuals may be ordered direct from WinEstimator, Inc.,(R)
for a standard fee
- Student 'softcopy' (PDF) Manuals are included with the software CDROM
- Technical support is not available for student 'Licenses'
Note: Students may share, without restriction, ONLY the PDF softcopy of the WinEst
Pro Plus(R) manual, as available.
Upon graduation from an approved higher education program, and for any student previously
and actively participating in the Partners In Education Program, a limited time
25% discount may be offered for a WinEstimator(R), Inc. software solution.
To be eligible for this discount, the graduating student's order must be placed
within 4 months of graduation. To qualify for this special opportunity, the graduating
student must provide all the pertinent information requested:
- Specify which WinEst(R) software product is desired
- Include School identification (and/or student registration number)
- The employer the student is going to use the product for
- The year of graduation (date)
